Koh Samui - Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited led by Mr. Varong Israsena Na Ayudhya, Vice President - Marketing (3rd from right) has joined hands with Theppadungporn Coconut Co., Ltd, led by Mrs. Jareeporn Theppadungporn, President (4th from left) to organize the 5th “Love Earth, Save Earth: Love Samui, Save the Coconut Trees” activity donating 1,000 young coconut plants to farmers in Koh Samui. The activity aims to encourage the locals to preserve and protect the coconut trees which have been an iconic symbol of the island’s tourism.
Theppadungporn Coconut Co., Ltd, provided well selected young coconut plants as well as brought along an expert in coconuts to share knowledge with the local community. Participants also helped planting coconut trees in designated areas around Koh Samui. The activity was held at Chedi Sri Sukkotkiri (Khao Hua Jook Pagoda), Koh Samui district, Surat Thani and attended by Acting Sub Lt.Kittipop Roddon, Samui District Chief (4th from right), Mr.Noppadon Kawmali, Senior Assistant Samui Chief District Officer (1st from left), Mr. Kieatisak Theppadungporn, Director and Factory Manager (CHAOKOH) (3rd from left), Mr. Chavapon Theppadungporn, Marketing Manager (CHAOKOH) (2nd from left), Mr.Sirichai Charoenrath, Advisor - Corporate Social Responsibility (Samui Station) (2nd from right) and Mr.Sirichai Aimdam, Agricultural Extensionist (1st from right) as a guest of honor.
