Bangkok Airways announces ticket handling policy as a result of current COVID-19 outbreak

Bangkok Airways facilitates passengers who wish to amend their travel plans as a result of the current outbreak of COVID-19, by waiving fees for reservation amendments .

Passengers are allowed to amend their reservations for those who hold domestic tickets traveling between 30 December 2020, and 31 January 2021, without changing fees.

Passengers holding Bangkok Airways’ tickets issued on or before 30 April 2020 with traveling date between 28 January – 30 April 2020 may request to amend their travel plans or cancel flights with following fee waiver options;

1. Rebook
   • Passengers are allowed to rebook for a new travelling date up to 31 March 2021 without rebooking fee/no show fee. Fare difference due to different RBD (reservation booking designator) is payable upon reissuance.
   • For group tickets, passengers are allowed to rebook in the same PNR (passenger name record) for a new travelling date up to 31 March 2021 without rebooking fee. Fare difference due to different RBD is payable upon reissuance.
   • For group deposits, the deposits shall be kept for group reservations (same PNR) with a new travelling date up to 31 March 2021.
2. 調整路線
   • Passengers are allowed to reroute for a new travelling date up to 31 March 2021 without rerouting fee. The fare difference, fuel surcharges and taxes are payable on reissuing of new tickets.
3. 退款
   • All refund applications will be eligible for a full refund (no fee).

Passengers holding Bangkok Airways’ tickets issued on 1 May 2020 onwards, normal ticketing policy will apply. The fees for reservation changes, rerouting, refunds and no show will be collected in accordance with the fare rules as stated upon ticket purchase.
