We, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, installed CCTV cameras in and around our premises to monitor specific spaces for safety and security of our buildings, assets, employees, customers and visitors. This privacy notice provides information on collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data collected by our CCTV system and your right as Data Subject.

1. TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

Our CCTV cameras capture moving images and sound of individuals, including their belongings (e.g. vehicles, luggage), entering the monitored area in or around our premises and facilities. The CCTV system which operates 24 hours a day may have recorded your personal data.

2. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASE FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA.

2.1 Purposes for processing personal data

1. (1) Protection of health, safety and belongings of individuals.
2. (2) Protection of buildings, facilities and assets of the Company against damages, disruption of operation, vandalism, and other crimes.
3. (3) Supporting law enforcement agencies in prevention, protection, detection and various litigations.
4. (4) Supporting dispute resolution which may arise during disciplinary process or grievance process.
5. (5) Supporting the investigation process or complaint process.
6. (6) Supporting the initiation or prevention process of civil actions or labor cases.
7. (7) Verification of identity and compliance with applicable laws.

2.2 Legal bases for processing

1. (1) Prevention or suppression of danger to a person's life, body or health is our vital interest.
2. (2) Essential for legitimate interest of the Company to achieve any one of the purposes described above.
3. (3) Compliance with relevant applicable laws which control safety, workplace environment and assets.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to achieve the purposes specified in this Privacy Notice, we may need to disclose your personal data recorded by CCTV to following natural person or juristic person:

1. (1) Agencies empowered by the law to assist or support enforcement agencies in investigation, interrogation or various litigations.
2. (2) Our subsidiary companies, service providers to implement necessary actions for prevention of danger to a person’s life, body or health including protection of belongings.

4. PERIOD OF RETENTION

We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes described in this notice or as required by applicable laws. However, we may need to retain your personal data longer than necessary to deal with any disputes or legal proceedings that may arise, after which your personal data shall be deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
